Body

Getting really tired of PowerPoint. Everything I make looks the same and kind of dated. Plus I'm not great at design so they end up looking pretty basic. Is there something better for making sales presentations that doesn't require me to be a designer?

Hey, Have you tried Alai? The design is superior and you can personalize the decks for each client automatically using AI. Note: I'm the founder. Let me know if you need any help.

Switched from PowerPoint to Visme earlier this year for this reason. Has templates specifically for sales presentations and insurance templates. Makes it way easier to create something that looks unique and on brand. The templates were the big thing for me not being a designer. Can still customize everything but starting with something that already looks good is huge. Clients have definitely noticed the difference in presentation quality.

Design being the main frustration means you should find out what's going wrong with structure. Use a clean story with minimal text which is always better than fancy slides imo. Try one idea per slide, large fonts, plenty of white space. Looks professional.

If your presntation is dated it might just be cluttered. Cut you content by about 30-40% and your slides will automatically feel more modern. Insurance buyers usually care more about clarity than visual flair anyway.

have you tried out Notebook LM? if you have the text of what you want to present it's pretty amazing at making slidedecks with minimal input

Also check out [pitch.com](http://pitch.com) for inspiration. They have some much more graphic/image-rich presentations that may be more what you're looking for.
