Body

Hi everyone, is about to be 1 year since I posted here [https://www.reddit.com/r/smallbusiness/comments/1g4nku9/my\_pharmacy\_is\_failing/](https://www.reddit.com/r/smallbusiness/comments/1g4nku9/my_pharmacy_is_failing/) So as the title says, now my pharmacy is not failing, here is what happend: * I closed an entire week to set the prices up and review every product margin. * I thougth: well I'm literally in a desert in terms of business and customers (not really, they didn't know I existed). I made an add for facebook because usually elder people here are the ones that use facebook the most. Customers increased. * I was still sleeping in the second floor of the pharmacy, I didin't liked that. So in the search for a small place for me, a lot of the people I talked to commented how far things such a pharmacy were and how painful it was for them, with all their illnes and more to get to the center of the city. * A friend lend my a bycicle, make and add about delivery for free, I starded doing the delivery myself with the bike. It was really shitty cause I was really exhausted at the end of the day. People were agressive at first, because come on, nobody gives you anything for free. When the news spiked up about the delivery, I was doing already 60-70 km a day on bycyle (like 40-42 miles). * I bought and electric bycicle (more like an hybrid bike, with an electric engine but It could be used as a mechanical bike). This thing allowed me to do twice the delivery I was doing in a single day. And the moment came, I rented not a small place, but a whole house. * With my mind more calmed in the new place I took after 6 months a little two days vacation to go to another city. I bought bread in a little grocery store when a man in a white coat came from a pharmacy in the corner of that city, he asked at the store if they have still some fresh bread. He wasn't sure about buying them bread so I shared with him some of the ones I bought to convince him to do it. He sat with me, it results he was a pharmacist too and he was in charge of a compounding pharmacy in the south that worked with small pharmacies. Here in this country having a compounding pharmacy is hell hard because of costs and all the norms. I didn't think twice and told him that I wanted their products in my place. Now we work toguether and I could add to my set of costumers thouse with compounding prescriptions. * I was phisically tired of delivering myself, I event got ran over by a truck. I thought that if I died, that was really going to be the game over. I got some bruises over and a medium cut in the leg but nothing really concerning. So seeing that money was increasing I paid car and bike delivery men. * I compared this winter to the last year in terms of revenue, I'm making 10 times what I made last year. Now I'm saving money to open in a new place. * Now I'm working on a website so people would do their purchases faster. * Last but not least, I've been consistent with therapy. I want to thank all of the people that last year give me their advice and also why not, thank people that threw shit at me, I needed to learn a lesson, a lot of lessons. TLDR: I got over that bad situation, and my pharmacy is not failing. EDIT: Grammar, my keyboard is set in spanish.
